Thirty Years of Service: A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Beloved Hafiz Saab

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

With heartfelt gratitude and affection, we bid farewell to our beloved Hafiz Saab, who has served Baitul Mawla Jame Masjid and our community for the past 30 years.

Thirty years of service represents a significant part of a person’s life. It is a commitment of time, knowledge and care to the house of Allah and the people who gather there. As Hafiz Saab leaves his role, we reflect with appreciation on his long association with our masjid and the place he holds in our community.

A masjid is more than a building. It is where we turn to Allah, seek knowledge, find reassurance and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. Those who serve it become part of our lives and memories. For many of us, Hafiz Saab’s presence has been a familiar part of that connection over many years.

During these three decades, our community has grown and changed. Children have become adults, families have welcomed new generations, and we have said goodbye to loved ones. Hafiz Saab’s service has spanned these chapters of our shared history. His farewell is therefore a meaningful occasion for the whole community.

On behalf of the masjid committee and congregation, we offer our sincere thanks. We recognise that long service carries responsibilities and sacrifices, many of which others may never see. May Allah reward every effort made with sincerity, accept his service and forgive any shortcomings.

As a gesture of our appreciation, members of the community are warmly invited to contribute towards a farewell hadiya for Hafiz Saab. This gift is a small expression of our gratitude for his 30 years among us. Above all, we ask everyone to remember him and his family in their duas.

May Allah bless Hafiz Saab with good health, peace and barakah in the years ahead. May He make his service a source of lasting reward, grant him goodness in this life and the Hereafter, and keep our hearts connected through faith and brotherhood. Ameen.

Dear Hafiz Saab, you leave with our respect, affection and heartfelt prayers. You will always remain a valued part of the Baitul Mawla Jame Masjid community.

With gratitude and duas,
The Chairman, Committee and Congregation
Baitul Mawla Jame Masjid
