اَللَّهُمَّ مَتِّعْنِي بِسَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَاجْعَلْهُمَا الْوَارِثَ مِنِّي، وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِي وَخُذْ مِنْهُ بِثَأْرِي
Pronunciation
Allahumm-a matti‛ni bi sam‛i wa basari waj-‛alhumal-waaritha minni, wan-surni ‛alaa man zalamani, wa khudh minhu bi tha’ri
Meaning
O Allah, grant me enjoyment of my hearing and sight, and keep them healthy and sound until the day I die, and aid me against those who oppress me, and avenge me from them.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of Hell, and seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. Seek refuge in Allah from the trial of Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death.” [Hasan (Albani). Tirmidhi: 3604]
