عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يَرۡحَمَكُمۡۚ وَإِنۡ عُدتُّمۡ عُدۡنَاۚ وَجَعَلۡنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ حَصِيرًا
Rowwad Translation Center
Your Lord may bestow mercy upon you, but if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment][1]. And We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers.”
Notes
[1] After this great affliction, Allah would give them back their lost sovereignty, but if they revert back to their old rebellious ways then the way of Allah is never changing.
