فَوَجَدَا عَبۡدٗا مِّنۡ عِبَادِنَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنۡ عِندِنَا وَعَلَّمۡنَٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا عِلۡمٗا
Rowwad Translation Center
There they found one of Our slaves[1] upon whom We bestowed Our mercy[2] and We taught him from Our Own knowledge[3].

[1] i.e., Al-Khidr.
[2] i.e., Prophethood or being a righteous servant of Allah.
[3] i.e., the knowledge that Allah gave him such as knowledge of some unseen events, of which others were unaware.
