فَنَادَتۡهُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٞ يُصَلِّي فِي ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحۡيَىٰ مُصَدِّقَۢا بِكَلِمَةٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَيِّدٗا وَحَصُورٗا وَنَبِيّٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Rowwad Translation Center
The angels called out to him while he was standing in the prayer chamber praying, “Allah gives you glad tidings of John, who will confirm a Word from Allah[1] and will be a noble leader, abstinent [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous.”
