If you avoid the major sins[1] which are forbidden to you, We will absolve your [minor] sins and admit you to a noble entrance.
Notes
[1] The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." They asked, "O Allah’s Messenger! What are they?" He said, "(1) associating partners with Allah; (2) sorcery; (3) killing a soul whom Allah has forbidden except by right; (4) consuming ribā (usury); (5) consuming an orphan’s property; (6) fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting; and (7) accusing chaste, unsuspecting believing women of immorality."
