We will send down upon you a weighty Word[1].
Notes
[1] i.e., a revelation of immense significance and weighty responsibility, it carries profound moral, spiritual, and practical dimensions for its recipients. The Prophet (ﷺ) would feel its great weight when descending upon him, due to the intensity of the revelation itself and the magnitude of its content, encompassing ordinances, rulings, punishments, ethics, etc. It required faithful transmission, deep contemplation, and unwavering commitment both in word and deed.
